What it is
A Kiva Card is a gift credit the recipient uses to lend to a small business or borrower of their choosing on Kiva.org. Sold in $25 steps, delivered by email or printed at home. When the loan is repaid, the recipient can lend the money again.
Worth knowing
The recipient has to create a Kiva account to redeem it, and unredeemed cards turn into a donation to Kiva after 12 months.
This gift does not ship as a parcel, so it can be given after shipping cutoffs.
